I am a maker, teacher and healing arts practitioner living in the upper Hudson Valley.
Following 20 years as a fiber artist exploring the gifts of cloth and dye, I turned in 2020 to working with discarded metal--cans of all sizes and composition as well as found scrap and other metal items. The circle has long been my form of choice; metalwork brings to that form unique combinations of light, color, texture and depth.
I offer a variety of healing arts services, including reiki, somatic bodywork and developmentally informed yoga. By appointment only.
I strive to orient my wok and practice toward intimate involvement with the minutiae of daily life, recognizing that small acts--a kind word, a seed planted--have a potency far exceeding their moment of enactment. Healing gestures and art pieces too spiral out beyond my ken, offering to others what I hope is healing, insight, and beauty.
